What is hypnotherapy?

 

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process that works with focused attention and subconscious awareness to support meaningful change. You remain aware and in control throughout the session.

The aim is not to override your mind, but to create a state where insight, regulation, and new ways of responding become more accessible.

What can hypnotherapy help with?

 

Clients seek support for a range of experiences, including:

  • anxiety and stress 
  • confidence and self-worth 
  • smoking and drinking habits 
  • emotional eating and weight-related behaviours 
  • procrastination and self-sabotage 
  • relationship and attachment patterns 
  • emotional regulation 
  • feeling stuck or disconnected 

This work is tailored to the individual, rather than approached through a one-size-fits-all model.

Will I lose control during hypnosis?

 

No. Hypnosis is not mind control, and you cannot be made to do anything against your values or wishes.

Most clients describe the experience as deeply relaxed, focused, and internally aware.

What does a session involve?

 

Sessions combine therapeutic conversation with tailored hypnotherapy.

Each programme begins with an initial consultation, followed by weekly sessions that include:

  • check-in and counselling 
  • personalised hypnotherapy 
  • space for reflection and integration 

Programmes also include personalised hypnotherapy recordings and light between-session support.

Are the hypnotherapy recordings personalised?

 

Yes. Each recording is created specifically for you and reflects the themes, patterns, and goals emerging from our work together.

These recordings are designed to support integration and reinforce change between sessions.

How many sessions will I need?

 

Some clients benefit from a single Reset Session, while others prefer a longer programme to support more sustained behavioural or emotional change.

We can discuss what feels most appropriate during the initial consultation.

Is hypnotherapy evidence-based?

 

Hypnotherapy is increasingly used alongside evidence-based psychological approaches and may support habit change, stress reduction, emotional regulation, and behavioural shifts.

My work is informed by trauma-aware and regulation-led principles, alongside broader psychological frameworks including mindfulness and cognitive-behavioural approaches.

Do you offer online sessions?

 

Yes. Sessions are currently offered online via secure video call.

You’ll receive a private session link and guidance beforehand on how to create a comfortable, uninterrupted environment for the session.

What is your cancellation policy?

 

At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Late cancellations or missed sessions may incur the full session fee.
